About the Journal

The International Journal of Ahiska Studies is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal that is the first in its field, and is an electronic journal that aims to lay the groundwork for scientific and academic studies covering topics such as the language, history, literature, culture, art, international relations, sociology, ethnopedagogy and religion of the Ahiska Turks, and to communicate these to interested parties.

The International Journal of Ahiska Studies is a periodical, academic, peer-reviewed journal that has begun to accept manuscript submissions in 2021. The first issue of the International Journal of Ahiska Studies was published on December, 2021. The journal continues its activities with the publication of two issues each year,  the Spring Issue in May and the Autumn Issue in November. Besides these issues, special issues  wıll also be published after events such as congresses and symposiums.

The publication languages ​​of the International Journal of Ahiska Studies are Turkish, English and Russian, and it accepts manuscripts such as research paperscompilationsletters to the editor and book reviews, on condition that they are prepared in accordance with the writing rules. Manuscripts submitted to the journal for review must not have been previously published, accepted for publication, or been in the review process for publication. Any legal liability related to the content of manuscripts published in the journal rests entirely with the author(s).
