This article by Sabircan Calilov was published in the first issue of the "History, Language and Literature" series of the "Elm" ("Matsne") magazine, under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic, in 1982. [Сабирджан Джалилов, Особенности склонения имен существительных в месхетском диалекте турецкого языка, Известия Академии Наук Грузинской ССР, Серия истории, языка и литературы, № 1, 1982, с. 122-128]. The article was authored in Russian. Within the article, examples from the Ahıska dialect were presented in the native language using Latin script. When the text was translated into Turkish, the native language examples were retained in their original form. However, some phonemes were modified in accordance with the Common Turkic Alphabet (OTA), which was adopted by the Turkic World Common Alphabet Commission in Baku on September 11, 2024. The phonemes used in the Ahıska dialect were adapted to the Common Turkic Alphabet as follows: ӓ - ə, j - y, ž - z, č - ç, ȝ - c, c’ - g, y - ı, š - ş, γ - ğ, ġ - g.
